Overcoming Soul-Tie Setback: For Men Who Go Back and Forth to Prison is a new series that briefly addresses the concept of recidivism and offers a scriptural basis for understanding the problem of why there may be a high rate of men returning to prison.
This series is not meant to answer the question of why men return to prison repeatedly. Instead, it is meant to gauge an understanding of the situation through the lens of romantic entanglement, i.e., linking the act of recidivism to the concept of romantic rebounding.
People return to what they believe is convenient for them even if in returning it is detrimental to the psyche and prevents people from fully negotiating life as an adult.
The series explores various topics related to romantic rebounding and includes solutions that encourage the individual to become an adult with a vision, life plan, and strategy for staying out of prison.
A companion or workbook title may be in progress. Future research will center on the concept of recidivism and current progress on the topic. The following videos begin this discussion by likening recidivism to romantic entanglement. An annotated bibliography might be forthcoming. This is to be determined.

Supplemental Series
Overcoming Lot Setback: When You Linger Too Long
Overcoming Lot Setback is a new series, short and tailored to the biblical character “Lot.”
The series focuses on how Lot lacked a true relationship with God, lacked vision, and did not walk in his calling and/or assignment. It is possible that Lot was supposed to be a judge in the land he chose after separating from Abraham; he is perceived as a judge when the men in the city oppose him.
However, he did not have a relationship with God to cement this understanding. At the end of this brief presentation, you will gain insight into the importance of walking in agreement with God concerning your life assignment, purpose, and gifts and talents.
You will also learn not to stay in places that do not receive you. Take some time to review the video. Glean insight where you can. Here is the video.
