General Introduction
Single women should be knowledgeable about what it means to be single and how to navigate their singleness regardless of a decision to date or marry.
This means that single women should take the necessary time to learn about their singleness; set academic, professional, and personal goals; and contemplate whether they are ready to enter the dating market. Single women should never enter the dating market without a goal and a plan.
Therefore, one of the most important aspects of being a single woman is that you can plan your transition, establish a time schedule, set mating preferences, and learn about how men and women date.

What is Pre-Singles Counseling?
Pre-Singles Counseling is based in a decision to enter or exit singleness.
Pre-Singles is the time period between single and contemplation of dating. There is a difference between being a single individual and being a single individual who has entered the dating market, which includes the sex market.
Pre-Singles Counseling is the processes by which an individual researches, learns, and plans to navigate life either as a single, a dating single, or a single interested in marriage.
Pre-Singles Counseling Defined
Pre-Singles counseling is defined as the research processes and planning for entering a state of singlehood. The main target audience is 18 to 45 years of age; however, middle school to high school students are considered. Processes include:
•Single to Single: transitional time prior to entering the dating market at any age
•Single to Dating Single: transitional time prior to considering marriage
•Single Dating to Marriage: transitional time prior to and after pre-marital counseling
Pre-Singles counseling is the immediate strategy of adopting life plans to manage the self as a responsible, individual adult up to and including a major life change.
Why You Should Embrace Single
Embracing your singleness provides the time necessary for self-discovery.
Embracing your singleness gives you time to create a life plan strategy.
Embracing your singleness offers the opportunity to self-assess knowledge gaps, address personal issues and problems, and establish immediate goal objectives.
Embracing your singleness begins the process of creating financial stability objectives. Financial stability should begin as early as middle to high school.
Embracing your singleness allows you to understand the following transitions:
•Understanding transition begins with determining if you want to enter the dating market, whether you are in high school or as an adult.
•Understanding transition begins with considerations of marriage, whether after high school or as an adult. The first step towards consideration of marriage is to understand the psychology of dating the opposite sex.
•Understanding transition begins with setting two-year and five-year goals to establish records of successes and contemplate career planning.
Essentially, embracing your singleness allows you to set immediate, two-year, five-year, and ten-year life planning objectives.

Audio Lectures
Understanding the Gift of Singleness, An Orientation
This orientation document provides the guiding mission and suggests strategies for how to become single before dating and/or marriage consideration.
Lesson: Mate Value & Mate Retention Behaviors
This lesson, titled “Mate Value and Mate Retention Behaviors,” explores how mate value predicts mate retention for romantic partners who may be dating and/or married.
Lesson: Mate Value & Mate Preference
This lesson, titled “Mate Value and Mate Preference,” explores how mate preference is predicated on the social expectation for mate value. Those who fall under the global standard of beauty are often perceived as higher value mates and are preferred.
The Mating Market
Lesson: The Mate Switching Hypothesis
This lesson titled, “The Mate Switching Hypothesis,” explores how individuals mate switch based on mate value and/or mate preference.
Lesson: The Mating Market & Mate Poaching
This lesson titled, “The Mate Market and Mate Poaching,” explores how high value individuals will mate poach when they feel the potential partner’s mate is lower than high value, i.e., a lower value mate.
Case Study: Alpha Males Do Not Win in the End
This case study titled, “Alpha Males Do Not Win in the End,” explores the strategies of alpha males and the concluding argument that they will eventually burn out resulting from those toxic-based strategies.
Dating & Rankings
Case Study: 9/10, 7/8, 5/6, Which One Has High Value?
This case study titled, “9/10, 7/8, 5/6: Which One Has High Value?” explores how men rank women based on a scale of one to 10, how men view their flexibility to move between rankings based on socially perceived physical attractiveness, and how decisions may affect one’s mate value, both positively and negatively.
Lesson: Good Girls Don’t Date
This lesson titled, “Good Girls Don’t Date,” explores how good girls should self-assess their potential and follow-through in the sex markets to determine if they have the capacity to navigate dating.
Case Study: When They See You as a 7/8
This case study titled, “When They See You as a 7/8,” explores how social perception of female and/or 7/8s might be based on the argument that if you are a 7/8, you might fall under three areas (reasons): 1) you might be an alternative, 2) you may not be competitive, and/or 3) you may be a rebound in the dating market. This lecture is separated into the three videos in the last section.
When They See You as a 7/8: You’re An Alternative
When They See You as a 7/8: You’re Not Competitive
When They See You as a 7/8: You May Be a Rebound
Mating Frustration
Case Study: Why Won’t You Let Me Hit?
The case study titled, “Why Won’t You Let Me Hit?” explores the frustration a romantic partner might have with an individual with a restricted sociosexual orientation, who needs more time before he or she decides to pursue sex.
Case Study: You Cannot Compete with a Baby
This case study titled, “You Cannot Compete With a Baby,” explores the misconception that our battles are with the ex-partner and their baby. However, the struggle is never with the physical baby. The struggle is with how your current partner treats his or her ex-partner as a baby that he feels he needs to comfort even to the detriment of a relationship with you.
